Red is the new gold

Melleray honey isn't gold--it's red. It's also incredibly delicious. Down in the South, we're still suffering through the heat wave from hell, so I don't have much of an appetite. But when I do, I get a bowl of pretzels and dip each one into this jar of honey. Which, when I hold it up to the sunlight coming through my kitchen window, looks sort of like one of the lost Sankara Stones.
